Mr Richard Heider is from Munich, Germany, and joined SRIS in 2020 as Operation and Liaison Officer. His responsibility is to help the school master the new challenges presented by the COVID-19 outbreak.

He is our Edupage administrator, maintains our timetable and works on the improvements of our Cambridge Curriculum for next year.

In recent years he has been teaching IGCSE Business Studies (0450) in 9th and 10th grade for Cambridge Upper Secondary, AS and A Level ‘Business (9609)’ and ‘Economics (9708)’ in 11th and 12th grade within the Cambridge Advanced program.

Mr Richard did his Bachelor of Trade and Commerce at the Bavarian Trade Academy in Munich. Following his graduation he collected 30 years of business experience in the food sector, quick-service-restaurants and the dairy industry.

He started to pioneer online education as soon as 2001, when he was compiling and hosting an internet training program for teachers called “LearnNet” with the acclaimed Academy for Teacher Training and Personnel Development in Dillingen, Bavaria, Germany.

Over the years other education related projects followed. When the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Germany) started a project to create a curriculum for retailer training about selling food from organic farming, he was supplying his insights into dairy and wholesale logistics by authoring the corresponding chapters.

Mr. Richard acquired a Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test certificate for Content and Language Integrated Learning at the University of Central Asia.
